I'm Alexis Perdita. I'm a mastering engineer, recording arts student, and audiovisual artist based in Denver. I've been deeply ingrained with music and the audio industry since 2005 when I first got hands-on experience volunteering at local festivals and radio stations. Ever since I've taken every opportunity to record, mix, and master in studio environments as well as work in live sound and DJ.
As a studio monitor/manager at FRCC for two years I solidified my proficiencies with studio recording, routing, outboard gear, and event production. I overhauled the studio's routing capabilities, coordinated with the music department head on hardware purchases, and worked with BirdDog and The Blasting Room Studios in Fort Collins to start a livestreaming program where campus events could be broadcasted and recorded remotely. Through my live sound internship with Grace Place community center, I learned FOH mixing on a Yamaha CL5, and projections and lighting with GrandMA2.
I'm currently pursuing an MS in recording arts and a BS in music business from CU Denver while starting Perdita Music where I work as a mastering engineer out of my home studio.
